Annirudh is about to indulge into a fist fight with kids but Savita manages to control the situation. Sangeeta watches everything going in the park. Chitra lies to Minoli about Savita and Annirudh. Chitra requests to Sangeeta not to tell anything that has happened in the park to Minoli but Sangeeta being her own self reveals every detail to Minoli. Minoli fumes in anger. A huge argument again breaks between Deven and Minoli which left Savita shattered. Savita goes to Deven room to take her belongings and decides to shift to Chitra’s room. This disappoints Deven.

Happy in their home, Brijmohan and Savita are excited to welcome their children on the occasion of Diwali. Savita prepares mouthwatering savouries while Brijmohan leaves no stone unturned to decorate the house and make all the necessary arrangements for their children. Brij reads in the newspaper about the scam in his bank and gets baffled. Amid happy moments and fun with Savita, Brij gets a call from Ravi, elder son of Brij and Savita, an IAS officer by profession, that he can’t make it for Diwali. Brij is shattered but doesn’t let Ravi feel his pain and blesses him for his good future.
Brij tries to hide the news from Savita that Ravi couldn’t make it for Diwali. Savita guesses something is wrong but Brij distracts her by taking her Diwali shopping for their children. They share some romantic moments on their way to the market. Brij gets a call from his two younger sons, Anand and Deven that they can’t make it too for Diwali. Now that he cant hide the news any longer, Brij has to come clean, but tries to cheer up a shattered Savita. But with a very heavy heart, Savita asks her daughter, Chanchal not to waste her holiday by coming to Lucknow.
Savita and Brij try to console each other at the disappointment of their kids not coming for Diwali. A baarat passes by, and Savita and Brij remember their wedding and get ready in their wedding attires. Dancing to the beat of Baarat, they again get sad as deep down they are shattered. To cheer her up, Brijmohan surprises Savita by taking her to the Farmland and tells her about his retirement plans. Late that night, Savita and Brij get a pleasant surprise their children and grandchildren have arrived
Brij and Savita are on seventh heaven seeing their children and grandchildren. Savita delightedly distributes gifts and her special handmade toys to everyone. Savita and Brij try to think up schemes to make their children stay for a bit longer they come up with a plan to get married again. The next morning, while Brij is enjoying with his grandchildren, he gets a call from the Assistant Bank Manager who breaks the news to him that his Branch Manager turned out to be a fugitive after the raid in his house. Brij goes to the bank to check the records and gets shocked by seeing his name in the scam data
Savita is worried for Brij. Knowing him so well, she is sure that something is definitely wrong. Brij comes home with lots of sweets and pretends to be happy. Savita realises that he is hiding something. After confronting Brij, she comforts him saying that Brij is known for his honesty and integrity. So, nothing can tarnish his image. As the Diwali pooja is about to start, CBI comes to raid Brij’s house. Savita stands strong in front of the officials and shows full confidence in her husband. After searching the house, the CBI cant find anything. Everyone feels proud of Brijmohan. Minoli and Payal find a box full of jewellery and get surprised. Brijmohan then tells them the truth of artificial jewellery leaving everyone emotional.
Everyone starts bursting crackers. Annirudh is sitting alone, being scared by crackers, watching others enjoying the festival. Brij motivates and encourages him to burst crackers. Brij reads and newspaper and gets shattered after media defamed his name by printing incomplete information about the CBI raid. All family come together in his support. By seeing this, Brij gets happy. People taunts Brij at Fuggan Shop. Brij gets a call from Assistant Bank Manager that the bank will not continue his Gratuity and PF till the case gets solved. This wrenches his heart and leads to his accident. Everyone reaches the hospital and Savita stands strong and asks the doctor to tell the exact condition of Brij.
Savita signs all the documents needed for surgery. Brij is unconscious. Doctors are operating on him. Ravi clears all the hospital bills. Everyone is praying for Brij. Chanchal is crying profusely. Amit consoles her. Savita confidently stands strong with positive belief that nothing will happen to Brij and he will get well soon. Savita goes inside the ICU room. Brij gains some consciousness and asks Savita to hold her hand as he couldn’t sleep without holding her hand. Doctor comes and declares Brij dead. Savita screams at Brij. Everyone gets shattered and couldn’t control their tears. Seeing them, Savita decides to stand strong. Shukla ji comes with a cheque from Bank Employees but Savita refuses to take any kind of help from them. Ravi gives Mukhagni to Brij.
Savita is sleepless. Chanchal tries to console her. Meanwhile, Ravi announces to other family members that he can’t stay for thirteen days to complete all the Brij’s death rituals. Deven, Minoli and Anand become defensive and say that they too can’t stay for these many days. They decide to courier Brij’s remains to Haridwar. Chanchal listens this and yells at them for taking such an insensitive decision. On the day of Garud Puran Path, Savita decides to take all the Brij’s death rituals responsibilities on her. Unexpectedly, Assistant Bank Manager comes and breaks the news to everyone that Bank cannot let Savita to continue her stay in the house. Everyone gets shocked and in dilemma that what they will do to Savita Who will take her responsibility
Amit tells Chanchal that if Savita stays with them, he will be more than happy. Chanchal gets happy and immediately asks Savita but Savita denies. Minoli suggests to buy a small house in the same locality and arrange for a care taker who can look after Savita. Everyone agrees to this. Savita overhears their conversation and gets shattered with sorrow and pain. She doesn’t want to leave the house which is full of Brij’s memories. Suddenly she hears Brij’s voice. Savita hallucinates Brij and complains that why did he leave her alone Brij consoles her and tells her that whatever decision is taken by their children is for her good. Next day, Savita gets unconscious and Doctor suggests Ravi to take care of her without any carelessness. Everyone is worried that who will take Savita’s responsibility and comes into conclusion that lottery will decide Savita’s future. Savita gains consciousness and gets up, and is about to fall, suddenly Brij holds her.
Savita says to Brij that they never thought about their own home and future as their priorities are always their children. Brij consoles Savita. Meanwhile, Minoli throws the chits. Everyone picks the cheat. Ravi, Payal and Anand get relaxed. Deven has the chit with no. 1 written on it. Minoli gets pissed on Deven and calls him loser. Everyone gathers for last family dinner at their Lucknow house. Savita decides to come to Deven’s place after Brij’s tehravi. Savita is shattered seeing the empty house. All the children bid adieu to Savita. Savita requests Shukla ji to not to sell Brij’s scooter as she will come back one day to take it back from him. Chanchal consoles her. Everyone is ready to bid adieu to Savita.
Chanchal doesn’t want to leave Savita alone but the latter insists her to go back to Indore but Savita denies. Anand takes the Asthi Kalash for Visarjan. Everyone bids adieu to Savita. Time passes by and the day has come when Savita has to leave the house forever. She touches Brij’s name plate and gets nostalgic. Savita remembers happy moments with Brij and gets nostalgic. Shukla ji helps Savita in vacating the house. With a very heavy heart and tear in her eyes, Savita sees her home one last time as she leaves Lucknow forever.
On her way to the Railway Station, Shukla ji tries to console Savita by praising about her sons. Savita boards the train for Mumbai and bid final goodbye to Lucknow. She prepares herself to starts her new journey. Savita gathers herself and sits on her reserved train seat. A lady with an intrigue personality, Nirmala, enters with lord Krishna photo, sun glasses on her eyes, continuously chanting “Jai Shri Krishna”. Savita befriends with Nirmala. Train pulls at CST. Savita is stunned and amazed in awe seeing the large crowd of Mumbai. She encounters a Coolie who carries her luggage and vanishes from her eyes.
Savita gets happy and relaxed after seeing Deven at the Railway Station. On her way to Deven’s home, Savita sees the beauty of Mumbai. As Savita enters the Deven’s society, Munna, a hippy looking street beggar, comes near Savita and gives her some Mumbai life style tips. As Savita enters, Minoli and her father give Savita a cold welcome. A huge fight breaks out between Deven and Minoli which left Savita stunned.
Savita gets tensed and lits diya in front of the god. Ranjeet consoles Minoli. Suddenly, fire alarms rings. Minoli, Ranjeet and Chitra start to look for the fire incident area. As they enter Savita’s room, they realize the fire alarm buzzed because of Savita. Savita gets embarrassed in front of everyone. Annirudh reaches home from School and hugs Savita in love. Savita gets happy but seeing this Minoli gets irritated and yells at Annirudh. Deven informs Savita about the party and asks her to stay at her room. Savita agrees and assure Deven about the same. Savita tells Yudhistra and Yaksha story to Chitra and Chitra reveals the bitter truth about Deven and Minoli relation to Savita leaving Savita in shock.
Minoli comes in between Savita and Chitra’s conversation and looks at them sceptically. Mr. Goyal is uninterested in Minoli’s party and he knows Minoli’s intention behind the party. Meanwhile, Minoli is in tension as she has the gut intuition that the deal with Mr. Goyal is not going to happen. Deven gifts Savita an artificial diya. Annirudh encounters Munna again. The party starts. Mr. Goyals gets impressed with Deven. Savita spills the massage oil on the carpet by mistake and gets panicked. Chitra consoles her saying that she will mage to get the carpet clean. Annirudh goes to meet Savita in her room and sees two puppets resembling Savita and Brijmohan.
Savita peeps into the party from the window. She gets shocked seeing Minoli dancing with Monty. At party, Mr. Goyal starts throwing tantrums as he is not eating anything as he is allergic to some foods. Ranjit and Minoli gets tensed. Mr. Goyal acting sarcastic towards Minoli and Ranjeet. Savita gets out of her room to keep the leftover food plate and bumps into Mr. Goyal. All the leftover food is over Mr. Goyal’s shirt. Savita offers to help and makes Makki ka Rotla for Mr. Goyal. Mr. Goyal gets impressed and praises Savita and the family for respecting elders. Mr. Goyal even asks Savita for the recipe. Minoli gets the deal. Everyone gets happy. Minoli is drunk and enters Deven room and started screaming seeing the spilled oil on her expensive carpet. Savita is in shock and scared. Savita comes to Chitra and asks for her permission to stay in her room. She gets restless and remembers Brij.
Deven breaks into an argument with Minoli for misbehaving in front of Savita. Minoli gets pisssed at Annirudh as she can feel that Annirudh is getting close to Savita. Savita goes to bus stop to drop Annirudh and while coming back she encounters Munna again. Savita is making Lucknowi Princess when Annirudh comes and drags her to the park where children insult Savita by calling her maid.
Savita makes Deven understand the situation and tells him her uneasiness that she doesn’t want to be the reason for her son and daughterinlaw’s arguments. Savita is making her puppet when Annirudh comes to her and requests her to tell ghost stories to him. Savita agrees and they both falls asleep. When Chitra wakes up in the morning she gets scared seeing Annirudh in her room and wakes Savita up. Savita and Chitra manage to get Annirudh back to his room. Ratna invites Savita to join their group. Munna offers Annirudh icecream.
At night, Annirudh requests Savita to tell ghost stories to him. Savita remembers Brij and narrates one of the Brij’s stories to Annirudh. Minoli comes to Annirudh’s room and sees Savita there but gets distracted due to some office work. Next day, Annirudh doesn’t get ready for school and makes some excuse for not going to the school. Savita is trying to please Annirudh and inreturn Annirudh demands gujiya and ghost stories. Annirudh distributes Gujiya amongst his friends. At dinner table, when asked for sweets, Chitra brings gujiya’s container by mistake. But Annirudh manages to divide Minoli’s attention. Savita narrates ghost stories to Annirudh on his demand.

Minoli gets angry on Deven as he interrupted her during the presentation. Annirudh comes from school exhausted and Savita gives her Turmeric milk to recharge.
Minoli shouts at Annirudh and asks him to go to the garden and play as per his schedule. Annirudh makes a Grand Parents Day card for Savita which melts Savita’s heart and she gets extremely happy. In the morning, when Minoli comes to wake Annirudh up, she sees that Annirudh has wetted the bed and he is not getting up. He informs Deven and Minoli about the fear psychosis that Annirudh is facing. When Minoli is trying to enquire about this issue, Savita confesses that she is the one who was narrating ghost stories to Annirudh. Minoli fumes in anger and orders Savita to leave the house at the very moment. Annirudh comes and pleads to Minoli but she doesn’t listen.
Chitra and Deven are trying to connect to Ravi and Anand but no one is picking. Finally, Deven plans to shift Savita in a lodge Deven tells Savita that she hasn’t done good to Annirudh. Savita is shattered and heartbroken. Annirudh pleads to Ranjit and asks him to stop Savita. Touched by Annirudh’s gesture and love, Ranjit requests Savita to stay. Minoli installs camera in Annirudh’s room to keep check on him. Savita decides to keep herself busy in household chores. Ranjit reveals his plan behind his move to stop Savita from leaving the house.
Savita meets Mukund, Ratna and other elderly people in the park. Everyone forces her to take part in the race. Minoli sees Munna and Savita together on the road. Annirudh cleverly changes the scenario. Small argument breaks out between Minoli and Deven about Savita. Minoli observes Annirudh and Savita actions on camera. Annirudh goes to meet Munna outside the building. Munna inquires about Minoli. Savita realizes that Annirudh is missing and everyone starts searching for Annirudh. Deven sees Annirudh hugging Munna and fumes with anger. He says Savita some harsh words. Minoli gets pissed with the fact that Savita befriends Beggars from the street and taunts Deven.
Minoli creates a big scene and says Savita some heart wrenching things. Savita breakdowns to the core. Savita says Chitra that she doesn’t understand this discrimination against humanity. Annirudh tells Minoli that now he will not speak to Savita. At dinner table, Annirudh behaves rudely with Savita and seeing this Minoli gets happy. Annirudh cries secretly in his room. Savita alterego tells her to make new friends and live her life in a new way. Savita decides to take part in the race and successfully crosses the finish line. Savita sees Munna in a new look. Savita comes back home and asks for Annirudh indirectly.
Annirudh surprises Savita by decorating her room with balloons and tells Savita his plan and reason behind his harsh behaviour towards him. Savita, Chitra and Annirudh play “Rail Gaadi” song. Minoli is tensed as she isn’t able to see Annirudh in this room through camera. Munna comes to meet Annirudh and indulges in a fight with security guard. Minoli puts the blame on Savita. Ranjit asks Deven to take some necessary strict steps against Savita.
Minoli stops Deven from meeting Aniruddh. Minoli explains to Annirudh how mollycoddling can ruin his future. Savita’s friends from park give her surprise visit at her home and end up creating chaos at home. This instigates Minoli. She shouts on everyone.
Minoli asks Savita to clean the house without Chitra’s help. Savita cleans the house. Late at night, Savita remembers Brij. Chitra tries to console Savita. Annirudh applies massage oil on Savita and this melts Savita’s heart. Next day, we see Savita with full zeal and enthusiasm ready to take part in the race. Usha Tai shows her overconfidence and challenges Savita.
Aniruddh and Chitra collect money to buy a new pair of sports shoes for Savita. Minoli and Ranjit find out about Savita. Savita faints during the race. Chitra and Annirudh are restless as Savita hasn’t reached home yet. Mukund takes Savita at his home and calls Doctor. Deven gets to know that Savita is missing. Mukund tells Savita about her younger sister. Mukund calls Deven and informs about Savita.
Everyone tries to cheer Savita up by celebrating last day of Savita in Mumbai. Deven and Minoli are trying their best to get any information regarding Savita. Manju tries to pursue Anirudh but he denies to eat anything. Old people are playing carrom and enjoying in Mukund’s house and very keen to teach lesson to Deven and Minoli. Suddenly, Mukund gets a call from his security guard that Deven is here to meet him. Everyone takes Deven’s case.
Deven and Minoli are tensed. Aniruddh is shocked to see a lock at Savita’s room. Savita is worried for Aniruddh. Meanwhile, Anirudh is crying profusely for Savita. Anirudh faints after he comes to know that Savita is not at home. Doctor asks Deven and Minoli to take special care of Aniruddh. Deven and Minoli lies to Anirudh that Savita has gone to Shirdi. Deven files a missing report of Savita to Police. Savita leaves Mukund house. Aniruddh remembers Savita by seeing her picture which irritates Minoli.
Minoli breaks the photo frame of Savita. Minoli decides to give divorce to Deven as she thinks that her reputation is getting tarnished due to Deven and his mother. Minoli gets Mukund arrested by the Police. Deven and Minoli start their fight again at which Ranjit scolds them and ask them to be little responsible and stop fighting everytime. Anirudh is sleeping at Savita’s room and hallucinates Savita. Minoli and Deven sees this and left heart broken.
Doctor says Anirudh is going through some mental trauma and hence Deven and Minoli should take special care of him. Ravi calls Deven to inform him that he and his family are going to Kathmandu for an official trip. Anirudh asks Deven to get Savita’s photo frame repaired. Mukund gets the bail. Old people decide to search Savita. Inspector Tawde comes to Ranjit’s house to investigate regarding Savita. Deven is heartbroken after Anirudh asks him to leave the later alone. Anirudh’s friends visit his house to cheer him up but they see Anirudh is talking to someone. Anirudh again hallucinates Savita.
Aniruddh’s condition worsens, and he keeps behaving even more erratically, scaring his parents. Deven and Minoli consider getting a divorce, but Ranjit asks them to think about the already traumatised Aniruddh and also how it would appear to the police.
Deven and Minoli rush to the hospital to get Savita. Aniruddh decorates Savita’s room to celebrate her return. At the hospital, Deven and Minoli worry that Savita has told Inspector Tavde everything, but Savita takes all the blame of her disappearance on herself
Savita is sad at the turn of events but makes her peace with the situation. The next day there is a surprise in store for her as all her children and grandchildren arrive to celebrate her birthday. Deven and Minoli are not too thrilled about this given what all has happened. Savita, too, doesn’t want anyone to find out all that has happened. The family put on a happy façade. Chanchal senses something amiss and asks to see Savita’s room. Deven, Chitra, and Savita manage to convince Chanchal that nothing is wrong.
At Savita’s cake cutting, everyone except Deven and Minoli have gifts for her, raising the suspicions of the rest of the Kaushal siblings. When Aniruddh’s birthday gift, a painting, accidentally catches fire, Ani puts it out with his own hands, burning them. Seeing Minoli’s reaction and Savita’s response, the Kaushal siblings feel that something is not right. However, Minoli manages to appear loving and caring in front of them, and convinces them that Savita is in good hands. They leave feeling glad. Minoli gives Deven an ultimatum that he has to make Savita understand how to behave.
Minoli is worried about Aniruddh’s upcoming Hindi exam. Minoli and Deven have an important presentation in the office. At home, Sangeeta shows a news clip to Savita showing that there is a terror attack about to happen on Mumbai. She refuses to let Ani go for his exam and tries calling Minoli and Deven. They both ignore her calls. Savita decides to go to their office herself. She somehow reaches the office. Meanwhile, Minoli reaches home as she has got a call from Ani’s school about missing his exam. At the office, Deven is aghast at the turn of events and his mother’s ignorance.
When Deven and Savita return home, there’s a huge argument with Minoli. She storms out to meet the principal and try to sort things out. Ani locks himself in his room. He doesn’t answer Minoli’s calls. Ani’s principal doesn’t believe Minoli and humiliates her. She refuses to let him sit for the exam again. Minoli comes home absolutely furious and drags Ani out of his room. When Savita hears her blasting Aniruddh, she decides to meet the principal herself. At home as Deven is trying to avoid Chanchal’s calls, Savita comes and tells her everything that happened because of her.
Deven and Minoli are shocked to learn that Savita went to meet the Principal. Deven tells her that these are her last two days in the house and begs her to not cause any more problems. Minoli is glad to get a call from the principal saying that he can take the exam again, and thinks it’s because of her powers of persuasion. Aniruddh gives his exam, and his teacher and Principal are very happy with his answers. The principal reveals that what changed her mind was seeing the values Savita had imparted in the child. The society decides to award Ani and at the ceremony, as the chairman is about to felicitate Minoli for Ani’s essay, Ani says the real hero is his grandmother. Minoli is furious and Savita is celebrated. As Savita tries to placate Minoli, she says that now if Savita causes any trouble she will punish Aniruddh.
Late at night, Aniruddh secretly teaches Savita how to make video calls. The next morning, he promises her over video call that he will meet her before she leaves. As Deven leaves for office, he tells Savita that he will not be able to take her to the station. They have an emotional talk about how things ended up going so wrong. Chitra is also emotional as Savita will be leaving. Sangeeta comes and tells Savita that her train has been preponed. Savita realises she has to leave without meeting Ani. Ani is devastated to see that his grandmother has left without meeting him and insists on going to the station. At the station, Savita meets Munna once again and Aniruddh reaches in the nick of time to say goodbye to her. As the train leaves, Savita hears a familiar voice and discovers her friend Nirmala in the train. They share some nice moments and finally Savita looks forward to the new chapter of her life.
