Built in the 16th century and dedicated to Krishna, this temple has a small collection of carved panels from other area temples in its courtyard. A curious feature of the temple is the depiction of amorous scenes of Khajuraho type on the exterior of the temple. In the niches outside the temple are d... epicted various deities, including Surya, Harihara, Krishna with flute, Hanuman, Mashishasuramardini, Anantasayi Vishnu, Vishnu with three faces (those of hanuman, a lion and a boar), Uma Maheshvra, Narsimha and Varaha. Brij Raj Swami temple inside the Nurpurfort is a 16th-century historical temple of Lord Krishna and home to a much-revered deity of the local population and attracts tourists."
