She channeled her diapers singularly through Facebook Groups while still working, starting up, and managing her baby. Pallavi reached out to multiple new mothers who helped her market the product online, and these women have now grown with the company. During 201718 she started selling through WhatsApp, which now accounts for 6070 of SuperBottoms’ sales. Today, SuperBottoms employs over 100 employees, 80 of which are women, and 70 of whom are new mothersOdette, based in Bengaluru and started by fashionista Mamata Roy, brings a wellcurated line of fashion jewelry such as bracelets, rings, earrings and brooches, shoes, and accessories including belts, clutches, and sunglasses. Today, Odette uses Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram to connect with its customers directly and leverages these platforms for growth. 7080 percent of Odette’s turnover comes from Meta apps.These two businesses are amongst the many women entrepreneurs leveraging Meta apps to move their businesses forward.
