In this episode of The Habit Coach, Ashdin talks about selfhelp books, how as humans we learn at different levels, how habits are a part of our subconscious mind. If you want to make a change in your life you have to change your habits, books are useless if we keep them at an intellectual level. We need to dig deep and allow them to change the way our subconscious thinks. To make the most of the selfhelp books, start reading them slowly and dont be in a hurry to finish them. In this episode of The Habit Coach, Ashdin tells us about how the Greeks play negative endings. We expect something bad is going to happen just because everything is going well. Are we programmed to believe that all things will take a turn for the worse if things are running We need to realize that we dont live in a movie or a Greek tragedy play. 6 min 7 sec

Episode 714Fun fact : The first borewells were made in China, back in 200 B.C.Ashdin shares a story from his college days when he went on an Anthropological expedition and had a chance to pump some water up a water pump. He and his friends started taking turns one after the other but still couldnt be successful even after multiple tries, until a local child came and explained to them the right technique. They were supposed to keeping on pumping until the water came up, and not stop anywhere in between or change turns. Ashdin compare this with habits. Once we start with our habits, we dont instantly see results and leave the habit midway. When trying to make habits, we have to keep on going without losing any momentum until we see results.Check out the Awesome180 website: http://awesome180.com/ You can follow Ashdin Doctor on social media:Twitter: https://twitter.com/Ashdindoc Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ashdindoctor/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ashdindoc/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ashdin.doc.9 Send questions to Ashdin Doctor for The Habit Coach Hot Seat on this link : https://forms.gle/13vgf4MAk7zYKBd38 You can listen to The Habit Coach Kannada Podcast here: https://ivm.today/3j0Libf You can listen to this show and other awesome shows on the IVM Podcasts app on Android: https://ivm.today/android or iOS: https://ivm.today/ios, or any other podcast app.
