Mausam is married into a household where her Sassu Mas Dhaneshwari is ignited by her two female friends on keeping control over Bahu. Mausam is an educated girl but this goes against her as Dhaneshwari feels insecure. Mausam’s only source of comfort is Daadi Saas photo in the house where she pours her grief out. One day when the problems reach their peak Mausam wishes if Daadi Saas was there to guide her. Now the tables turn as Daadi Saas ensures that Dhaneshwari is taught how to be a good Saas. At every occasion Daadi Saas take possession of Mausam's body and teaches Dhaneshwari and her two friends lessons in correcting their attitude and behaviour. Daadi Saas soul leaves for heavenly abode having completed her Saas Dharma and everyone lives happily ever after.
