A mans partner, who has a hearing impairment, is being treated at the hospital for what appears to be a terminal illness. He is a chef and visits her daily with a special dish made by him. Together he has spent many memorable moments with his partner before she got hospitalized. After missing a visit due to long hours at work, she becomes cross at him. But on the same day, her condition worsens and she dies leaving a huge hole in his heart and his life.
