The sudden lockdown brought the whole world to a standstill. Things for Manav were not rosy. Away from his friends and family, he was stuck in his small capsule apartment in Beijing. All he was able to do was video calls with them in bits and pieces. News around was very depressing as everyone was going through an emotional crisis.
